Dr. Clare Palmer is a Professor of Philosophy and the George T. and Gladys H. Abell Professor of Liberal Arts at Texas A&M University. She completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Oxford University. Dr. Palmer’s research focuses on environmental philosophy and ethics, including conservation ethics, animal ethics, and ethics of emerging technologies.
Dr. Palmer has authored or co-authored numerous books, including Wildlife Ethics: The ethics of wildlife management and conservation with Bob Fischer, Jordan Hampton, Christian Gamborg and Peter Sandøe, Companion Animal Ethics with Peter Sandøe and Sandra Corr, and Animal Ethics in Context.
